(HO CHI MINH CITY – October 1, 2007) Freemantle Media assigns the Vietnam Idol website as the best website among all of the 32 global Pop Idol websites in 2007.
This year saw the launch of the global Pop Idol phenomenon in Vietnam, a country populated by thousands of karaoke lounges and a teeming audience of potential pop sensations. New Media developed and managed the online presence, producing original written and video content for the show. Tommy Tran, a supermodel and actor in Vietnam acted as the Web MC, providing ongoing exclusive web interviews, reviews, and fan interactions for the duration of the show. “This website was a culmination of our team’s abilities in production and content management testifying to how a good team can produce a great product,” said Aryeh Sternberg Creative Director for New Media.
