(MANILA,January 1, 2008)—(MANILA, December 1, 2007)—New Media, a leading digital agency in S.E. Asia, today announced the appointment of Resty Magno as the new Managing Director for its Philippines operations.
Mr. Magno brings New Media extensive experience from his background in project management and IT development. Priot to taking the Managing Director position, Resty acted as the Campaign and Technology Director in the New Media Thailand Headquarters. Prior to joining New Media, he Head of Technology of MSN Technologies for Impaq Interactive and directed the launch of MSN’s Thailand portal (www.msn.co.th). In addition, Resty handled the development of key award-winning campaigns including Shark Hunter (True Wireless) and The Diary (Samsung). He has also managed key campaigns for Axe, Toyota, Microsoft, eBay and Honda.
"It has always been my dream to come back to my home country and contribute to the growth of Philippine digital advertising market. With New Media’s extensive experience on the digital space and its vision towards online marketing, I believe that this dream is now being realized," commented Resty on his recent appointment.
